Thanksgiving in Idaho Falls with Cynthia's family

The boys went Pheasant hunting Thanksgiving morning. Unfortunately they didn't shoot quite enough birds to feed the whole lot of us, so we had to settle for the traditional turkey dinner! ;)
From left to right: Cody (Beth's husband), Ray(Cyn's bro), and Brandon & the boys.
Here are the kiddies sitting at the "kiddie table" for the big feast!
On Friday we went up to our cabin in Island Park. The dads took the kids ice fishing while the moms stayed home with the babies. It was only 3 degrees outside so we made sure they were bundled up warm!
Here's Kyle with uncle Cody, learning the tricks of the trade.

Here's uncle Ray with his prize catch! They came home with a total of 7 beautiful trout, all at least this big!

Here's the gang enjoying the yummy fish we had for dinner that night! It sure is fun being with the people you love!

Re-doing our kitchen cabinets

We have been wanting to re-do our kitchen cabinets since the day we moved in (4 years ago). A few days ago Brandon decided that now is the time! I had no idea what a project it would be! I'm so glad Brandon is such a "handy man!" It would have cost us > $10,000 to have them professionaly done! Brandon promises to have them done by Easter! ;)

Kevin on his "harley" at just 3 yrs old!

Kevin just learned how to ride a 2 wheeler (without training wheels)! He wants so bad to keep up with his older brother Kyle! He actually does a pretty good job of it! I'm so glad they are such good buddies!

Halloween 2007

Here are the kiddies! Kevin is on the left dressed as a pirate, Kelsey is in the middle, dressed as a giraffe, and Kyle is of course BATMAN!

Trick-or-Treat

Trick-or-Treating with the cousins! We had so much FUN! The boys got more candy than they know what to do with! I guess that means they get to share with mom and dad!

We ran into a friend while trick-or-treating. He had this cool motorcycle machine built and Kyle got quite a kick out of it! It sure fits his costume!

Eating treats along the way. Wow! No wonder this is kids' favorite holiday!

Even Kelsey had a good time! She sure made a cute giraffe!

Scarecrow Festival, Oct. 2007

We were sitting on the front row watching this guy's magic show, when he asked for a volunteer. Kevin jumped out of his seat and walked up to him without even being called on! He's definately not our shy child!

Yes, even mom can have fun with the kids! (Usually I'm the one taking all the pictures).

The unfortunate pets we have loved!

This was our bunny named Chester. He was given to us, and the boys absolutely loved him. Unfortunately, he kept jumping over our fence into our neighbor's back yard, where he thoroughly enjoyed himself eating all of her plants. We were too cheap to buy a cage so we had to let him go in Grandma Willie's graveyard, (to save our relationship with our old, widow neighbor.)

This was our pet lizard, who the boys named potipher (yes, they got the name from the bible). We found him in the mountains and brought him home. He actually stayed alive for several months! The boys loved finding bugs and catching flys for potipher to eat. Unfortunately, Kyle thought it would be cool to put him in a sleeping bag stuff bag and beat him against his bed. Needless to say, the lizard didn't survive. So now we are petless again.
Where's...Potipher?

This is the memorial service we had for poor Potipher. As you can tell, the boys are grieving heavily for their loss!

Vacation to Lake Powell in summer of 2007

This was the first time we took our kids to Lake Powell. I have always been a little paranoid about taking them, because of all the horror stories you hear about kids drowning, etc. Kyle and Kevin had an absolute blast and never once complained about having to keep their life jackets on, ALL THE TIME! This was a lizard Brandon caught for them on the beach. Unfortunately he didn't quite make it home with us. Someone left him in a box, on the back of the boat and he accidentally cooked to death.

Our favorite kind of bath is the kind at Lake Powell! There's nothing better!

On the way home from Lake Powell.
The kids zonked out the minute we docked our boat and started for home. They played so hard, it took everything out of them!

Our sweet, happy, precious, baby girl!

Kelsey absolutely loved her swing at 6 months old. She would sit in there for hours at a time if I would have let her! She has since out grown it, and now she wouldn't be happy being strapped down. She's a fast mover on all fours!

Here Kelsey is, doing what she does best! I left her baby food with in her reach, and then turned my back to her. I have since learned to never make that same mistake twice!

Kyle's T-Ball as a Warrior

Kyle played T-Ball for the first time
this summer. He was a superstar!
He can even hit the ball with his eyes closed ;)

DAD & The BOYS

This is our morning ritual...soaking in the TUB!
These boys absolutely LOVE hanging out with their dad!

MOM & KELSEY

Grammy Ball made Kelsey's beautiful
blessing dress. I thought I had better cherish
this moment with my precious daughter,
just in case she's the only one I get.
Kelsey smiled big in every picture!
She sure is a happy baby!
